A visit during the Tønder Festival is a very special experience. Tønder town buzzes with life from morning to evening. The fantastic music program, which is delivered by the organizers year after year, creates an unforgettable atmosphere both before, after and during the concerts. For Tønder Campingplads & Danhostel Tønder, the festival is also a big event that we look forward to every year.

Book "festival site"

It is a party for the many guests who meet here on the square. It often happens that you are bitten by the atmosphere, after which it becomes a recurring tradition and a gathering point during the festival. What's not to like - you listen to music, have fun and relax around a joint project just to enjoy.

To book a "festival place" with us, we ask you to send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

Is it a caravan, tent or camper
Indicate if you can "make do" with a smaller space
Indicate if you need a larger space
Provide email address, telephone number and postal address

We will then make sure to book and confirm if it is possible to fulfill your wishes.

NOTE!

A booking fee will be charged:
Kr. 600.- for wagons *
Kr. 400.- for tents *
* The fee will not be refunded and please be paid by April 1st.

When booking a festival place, you pay for it minimum 4 days – equivalent to DKK 360 per person.

Free admission to music at the campsite on Friday and Saturday with sale of draft beer and grilled sausages
Free internet for use at the reception
Possibility to buy warm rolls every day or order a breakfast buffet
Only 400 meters to the center, 500 meters to the festival site and 3 km. to the border
Possibility to wash and dry clothes

Kitchen

Our kitchen prepares tasty, filling, healthy and varied food. You can use our kitchen for everyday life, parties, courses, meetings and events of all kinds.
On a daily basis, we can present set buffets, meals and packed lunches. We serve breakfast buffet ad libitum every day, the opportunity to get a "build-your-own-packed lunch" for lunch and a hot buffet for the evening.

Tønder Festival

Tønder Festival is a legendary festival with "handmade music" in the center. Music with roots in people, roots rock, country, blues, cajun, world, etc. The festival offers top-class international names - both upcoming, the style-creating songwriting legend and the authentic folk music.

Tønder Festival has a unique music profile, and you can often experience international artists who only give concerts in Tønder. The festival is also recognized for being the "first mover" and dusting off new exciting names and presenting them as the first in Denmark. Not least, it is known for its very special atmosphere, where musicians and audiences are close to each other, and where large concerts go hand in hand with spontaneous jam sessions.

The atmosphere on the festival site is cozy and intimate, and in addition to the music offers art, events, artist talks, food stalls, restaurants, bars and much more.
