The user association Tønderhallerne - minutes of the general meeting 29.05.24
The general meeting took place in room 2 in the halls and may have been unexpectedly difficult to find for the approx. 20 members we expected.
However, in addition to the hall's representatives (Lone, Peter, Lars), there were 4 association representatives from each
Active Leisure, E-Sport, tsf-Fodbold, and Borderline. Thank you! Dorit was absent from the board in body and spirit, while Søren, Andreas and Poul Erik were fully present.
Peter (Groth) agreed without much resistance to be the conductor.
Poul Erik also agreed to be the referent at his best.
Andreas promised to listen attentively....and thus the chairman (Søren) started his second report since the User Association was formed.
The report will be available on the website for a while, so here it only needs to be mentioned that it contained a big thank you to the staff and management in the halls, a mention of the revived Masterplan and the already visible first consequences of the effort (zero trees left between Danhostel and halls…but it will be good in the end! ), a mention of our successful Pickleball event with DGI, and a failed event for the associations – where no one…as in NO ONE…came.
We were a little lost, BUT we hope and believe that our persistence will gradually penetrate our member associations, so that it becomes clear to everyone that we actually run the halls "absolutely" and thus is the entrance the member associations must use, if anything changes...for the better, that is...
The association cannot present an account yet, as it is partially with the municipality.
We call for an extraordinary GF when we have one.
There were no proposals received from friends or enemies, members or the board - probably mainly due to the still slightly uncertain starting position we find ourselves in.
Determining the quota for our member associations came more naturally to us. It was set at DKK 500 annually. The increase is due to the fact that in future all associations have free access to our meeting rooms and can use virtually all other facilities (but not halls or swimming pools without rent payment).
Søren and Andreas were up for election and were both re-elected for a two-year term. We are still only 4 members and are desperately searching for a fifth.
This left only the point "possibly". We used this for a longer and excellent discussion about the "member failure".
Both tsf, E-Sport, Borderline and Aktiv Fritids delegates came up with ideas and input, which we will soon take up in the board and hopefully find application for.
